My Creative Space - granny squares!

Last weekend, I went to a crochet class. I have love love loved looking at granny squares for years and finally I went along to learn how to make them.

The class was so much fun, but an hour or so in I *still* wasn't really getting it and thought "oh no! I'm NEVER going to know how to make a granny square!"

But then something clicked. A light bulb moment. It made sense!! Woot!

Yes they are still quite dodgy, but I've made 2 granny squares and here's the proof...

  6. What a great start. I had a craft session at my house this week and one friend taught another how to crochet. I look forward to seeing what you make and what she makes. Well done. Lou.

  8. I felt the same. It's funny with crochet how it can seem to be double dutch and then all of a sudden it clicks and all makes perfect sense and is one with the world in harmony...or something like that. Love the colours you've chosen.
